I've had similar prayers at times -- such a scary one to pray. I once sent an e-mail with a friend in which I closed with an impromptu prayer ending with the request that we might remember that He holds all things (even us) together, so that there is the freedom to fall apart completely. It's an easy thing to talk about and a scary thing to have happen, but this thought comforts me when I feel like I'm losing it.
