The first of the Netflix movies that I requested should be here tomorrow or Saturday. My selections may seem a little odd, but here they are:
I’ve been rating movies at about 50 a day, so hopefully the recommendations will come up with some good ones that I haven’t already seen. Again, suggestions (I know, I know — nobody reads this.) are always welcome.

My loyal readership emerges!
Of the movies you recommended, I’ve already seen Napoleon Dynamite and The Black Stallion. Napoleon Dynamite is a great movie. And I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that Kip’s wedding (after the credits), particularly the song, was my favorite part of the movie.
I’ve seen Dodgeball. I don’t know if I’d call it awful, but it wasn’t very good. If you watch the “alternate ending” on the DVD, the movie could’ve been a little better had the studio not forced the director to change the ending. Still, it wasn’t as bad as a number of other Ben Stiller movies I’ve seen, namely Along Came Polly, The Royal Tanenbaums and Zoolander. However, I’ve been encouraged by a number of people to watch Zoolander again and give it a second chance.
I’ll add the others you mentioned to my Netflix queue. Hopefully, the first of the movies they’ve sent will come today.

Ok, so I didn’t literally mean “nobody”, nor did I mean that the people who actually DO read my site are effectively nobody. I’m not proud to admit it, but I guess in a way I was trolling for comments.
And as I pointed out recently, I actually get a fair number of readers that are interested in “humping camels” (or some variation therof).

3 more I just saw:
The Iron Giant - Very good animated movie…your boys will like it a lot
Garden State - Excellent…I’ve heard it compared to “The Graduate” and I think that’s fair.
House of Sand and Fog - An intense drama…lazy government ruining peoples lives
