I love my boys

sw-lego.jpg The boys are playing Star Wars Lego this afternoon and I overhear:  The Emperor (Sean) says to Yoda (Caleb), “You sound like Fozzie The Bear”. This is really funny to me because it actually shows how closely Caleb was getting Yoda’s voice (Frank Oz was the voice for both characters).

The boys crack me up! I love to listen to them play and hear how creative they are.

Now they are moving on to Star Wars Trivial Pursuit and I bet I am going to get recruited to play too. I often surprise them (and myself) with my knowledge of Star Wars trivia, although I will never even come close to Cam’s level of knowledge on all things Star Wars. I just answered a “yellow pie question” for Caleb without even thinking about it! Oops!! Sean isn’t too happy with me.

Wow, we really sound like a bunch of geeks — but I think we are alright with that.

Build-A-Bear

Tomorrow is Caleb’s 7th birthday! He has been counting the days (for the last few months) until we could go to “Build-a-Bear”. Our original plan was to go on his actual birthday but he was picked to be the V.I.P. (very important person) in his class this week and when you are the V.I.P. you get to bring something special into class on Friday to share. He couldn’t handle that he’d get his bear Friday night and not be able to take it in to share it with all his friends. Caleb had so much fun. Sara asked him if it was everything he had hoped it would be and he answered “much more”. I’ll post more tomorrow about Caleb- he’s been cracking me up lately and I have lots to share.
