what we’ve been up to

Last week the boys each had 2 games. We had an extremely busy week on top of all the sports stuff. We had commitments every morning and evening last week– it was too much. Today we are going to stay in our jammies as long as we want and just relax. We may go for a walk or a hike later this afternoon.

Hopefully, taking this time to relax today will help us get through our next super busy week with a little more calm and kindness.

Only 4 weeks to SoCal! We are so looking forward to our vacation.

Spring Sports

caleb-soccer.jpgHi, you’ve reached the Watters’. We are unable to be reached at this time. You may leave a message or look for our tent at Northwest Fields. We will be taking up residence there for the next 3 months. We’ll be sopping wet and muddy but having lots of fun .sean-baseball.jpg
Pray for a sunny sports season! Maybe we’ll see you out there? Look for game schedules to be posted within the next week.

MLB All-Star Travesty

Once again, we’re a little less than a month away from the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, and the voters have missed the boat…again. Although I shouldn’t be surprised, like previous years, this years voting is shaping up to be more of a popularity contest than a reflection of on-field performance. For instance, it seems clear to me that, barring a colossal meltdown, Carlos Guillen should be the starting shortstop for the American League this year.

No Brainer!

Note To Self: Don’t trample 4-year-olds to get foul balls at baseball games. Additional Note: If you do happen to mess up the first part, give the tyke the ball before the national press calls you an ass all over the place.

People should channel all of their Steve Bartman angst at this numbskull.
