Last night I got to join Jen Fox to do a little maternity shoot with the Kallin family. Jen is AMAZING and it was fun to see her vision for these images come to life. Thanks Jen for letting me shoot with you!
My little sister is going to be delivering Aliza’s little sister in just a couple weeks. I am so excited to see Aliza become a big sister! Some of the greatest gifts in my life have been my sisters. I can’t imagine how lonely life would have been without them! They are so precious to me.

is very much loved. When I uploaded pictures the other night something about this shot just made me gasp. I don’t know if it’s the lighting, the expression on her face or both, but I just love this picture. Aliza is growing up so fast! She is so smart and so fun! Just a few more weeks until her baby sister arrives. It is so wonderful to have all these little girls in our family!

a few recent favorites
I have recently been trying to shoot manually instead of using the AV mode (aperture priority mode). There’s so much more to pay attention to shooting in manual mode but I am getting it figured out little by little. The twins above belong to my friend Leise. Sara’s little girl will be here in just about 7 weeks. I can’t wait to take pictures of Aliza and her sister! Bella is getting SO big! She can even smile now but I have not yet caught it on camera.
