We have been having BEAUTIFUL, spring-like weather this February! After working really hard yesterday to do some major deep cleaning and organizing, we decided to get outside today to enjoy the sunshine (and in all honesty, if we aren’t home the house stays clean). The camera and tripod came along for fun :) Check out the rest of the pics from today here.
It was fun to do this little shoot with Audrey! It had been awhile since I had her in front of the camera. I can’t believe she is 7 months old already! She is such a beautiful and sweet little girl!
Yesterday FedEx showed up with a delivery of some Christmas gifts we ordered online that came in their original boxes! This time of year in particular you would think they would put them in more subtle packaging for shipping. Seriously! Sean opened the door and saw the gifts and was really upset because he was afraid that it would wreck Christmas! So sad. Cam and I both spent some time reassuring him that there are not consequences for accidentally finding out about a gift before Christmas. I’m bummed though and feel sad for him. I guess there is downside to shopping online. Okay, that’s the end of my little venting session. Here’s a cute picture of Miss Aliza from last Christmas season- because posts without pictures are no fun.
This little one is getting SO big! She is 8 months old already! She has the sweetest temperament and is busy, happy and so affectionate. Miss Bella!! She is 6 months old already! At 6 months she is one busy girl. She jumps, crawls, pull herself up on things and eats solid foods. She also gives hugs and is quite a snuggle bug. We love her! You can see more from this photo shoot on Flickr.
Tonight the boys, a couple sweet girls from our neighborhood and I walked down the trail and picked blackberries. It was so nice to slow down a little and enjoy an end of summer evening outside. The conversation was delightful and we came home with about 10 cups of berries. I imagine about twice that was picked but a few people couldn’t wait until we got home! Our house smells like blackberry crisp and there’s blackberry syrup in the fridge for pancakes in the morning. ??????? ???????????? ????????? ??????? ????? ????

Aliza Grace, we love you SO much and are so thankful for your life! You are beautiful, silly, smart, determined, joyful, thoughtful, precious, independent and oh, so very TWO in every wonderful way! Happy Birthday sweet girl!
